We had a wonderful relaxing stay at the cabin. Simon and Ruth welcomed us to the retreat. The views are amazing and made even more special relaxing in the hot tub under the stars.

Simon & Ruth are excellent hosts, the cabin is in a stunning position and well-equipped (though the cascading-style tap in the bathroom sink caught us out!)
Views and the sunsets were well worth the climb!!!!

We had the most relaxing and peaceful time here. The cabin was wonderfully prepared, very clean well equipped and the most picturesque accommodation we have stayed in. Simon and Ruth are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. Due to us celebrating a birthday event whilst away I asked Simon and Ruth for recommendations regarding restaurants and they were all too willing to provide me with details of a wonderful place to make the event special. Highly recommend staying here.

We spent fantastic 3 nights/days in Oak Lodge last week. Everything was exactly as described. The cabin was squeaky clean and well equiped.
The views were stunning specially from the cabin and from the hot tub
It is ideally located for touring the beautiful surounding areas including historic landmarks such as Saracens head and Tintern Abbey...
Simon and Ruth were very welcoming and it will be a pleasure to visit there again.

Just back from an amazing stay at the cabin. Simon and Ruth are wonderful hosts. The cabin is lovely and cozy, and has everything you need for a relaxed stay. The gardens are lovely and the hot tub with its fabulous views was a welcome addition every evening.
Getting to watch the sunset go down from the hot tub on our final night was a real highlight and made us appreciate the world around us.
